Aight so, because of industralization and CAPITALISM, it became way easier to tell classes apart. People who were of lower classes generally looked hungry and dirty and were sick more often. People of higher classes could spend more money on themselves and were therefore much cleaner and healthier looking. But since these classes were mingling together in the cities of the Industrial era, they were forced to see the differences between classes.

Now what the heck is class identity and how the heck did it develop? Well well well let's see, as mentioned earlier, classes were forced to see the gaping differences between themselves when having to mngle together in cities. And well, basically everyone that wasn't a high up, snooty, rich aristocrat thought to themselves "man those aristocrats sure have it made, I wish I could be more like them!". So you know, people did what aristocrats did. The higher ups went and participated in activities outside of work and home that would help other people like in the Salvation Army, or they'd have ball dances and lots of other fancy things. The Middle class didn't have any money to do any of this fancy stuff so they tried to be like them in a moral sense; rasing their kids well, being grateful, all that stuff.

4A Due to industrialization in the 19th century, many things could be produced quickly and cheaply in the newly built factories. And with all these things being produced en masse, they needed to be sold! So mass marketing was an easy way to sell the bulk of products as most people couldn't afford things otherwise. The main thing is, items needed to be sold cheap and quick to a larger audience, so people came up with mass marketing.

Transportation was a huge deal in the 19th century, and still is today! You see, this is around the time that cars were just being created while boats and trains were being improved greatly. These improvements made them faster and safer for moving people and products. These improvements could obviously improve the distribustion of goods, they could get from point A to point B in a few days or even hours now, instead of a few weeks! How could this improve quality of life? Very simple, it has to do with moving food and/or people once again. If your city or village is having a bad harvest, then a train can just come over with some crops from a nearby village that had a good harvest. Boom! Quality of life improved because you don't starve to death! Or, one of my favourites, helping improve people's quality of life due to allowing people to work in cities while not living there. You see, cities were festering stinkholes filled with disease and hazards on every corner! But they did have factories, which were huge job oportunities for nearly everyone. And with the new and improved trains, many people were able to opt out of living in gross, disgusting cities but still had the financial advantage of working in one!

There were a lot of advancements here in the 19th century that, all combined together, helped extend people's lives. Firstly, before we get to far into details, utalitarianism was a pretty big deal. You see, this was the belief that public problems must be solved in rational ways, and using this it was determined that death and disease caused poverty. Due to this conclusion there was a huge push to better public sanitation systems. This caused people create adequate sewage systems and water transportation systems, mainly by making them both underground so they weren't out in the open to be contaminated or to contaminate other things. The agricultural revolution already upped Europe's crop harvesting game, but this industrial revolution did twice as much as that one and upped Europe's harvest game by several hecks. Lastly, all of this helped to promote population growh simply by lowering the most likely causes of death from that time. With proper sewage systems that prevented people from dumping their turds into the streets, far less people got sick from poop related diseases such as dsyntery. And with proper food getting grown and harvested much more effi=eciently, far less people were dying of hunger.

During this time in history, a lot of people were moving into cities to get a better job in the new factories popping up all over the place. Because of all these people migrating en masse into cities, they quickly became overcrowded. Because of overcrowding, there were often not enough jobs to go around so there was an increasing amout homeless people. And if people were to somehow get a job, living in the city was very very unhealthy, even if you did have the protection that came with owning a house. You see, people didn't have today's modern sewage systems of any proper waste dispposal, so rates of bacterial illness in cities were far far much higher than they were in the outside of cities.

3A The Bourgeois families of this time tended to lean towards the nuclear family structure that contained strict 'traditional' gender roles. The nuclear family is, in case you ddn't know, a faamily that consists of a mother, father, and their child/children. But now you ask, why is that? Well, these Bourgeois heckers sure had a lot of money and had prettty cushy lives to live. And since the husband/father of the family could provide enough money for his family to live comfortably, then the wife/mother didn't need to work. And since she didn't have to, that meant she absolutely couldn't! Otherwise she'd be abandoning her children, no working for you young lady! Go raise your children like a good little housewife!

Now a lot of thing improved in ths time period, there was a lot less child labor and people were eating better than just dirt because the economy was poppin' and people weren't popping out kids cause hey! Maybe Billy XII is gonna not die! What's up with this? Firstly, people started laying down laws that restricted kids from working all day every day in jobs that would cause them to lose multiple limbs or death. You see, they were kinda treated like little slaves and given the worst of jobs with barely any pay, and parents were like, "hey man that's not cool. We're sending Thomas to work so we don't have to have dirt casserole again tonight and instead of money you're giving us more hospital bills! Stop taking his fingers!!" And for women you know, people thought they werent able to work as hard as men or something and stopped them from those intense jobs too. Improved diet started a long time ago with the Age of Exploration, because a bunch of foods were introdced to Europe and gave people much more to eat. Then with agricultural advances in the Age of Industrialization making farming way easier, and the use of transportation to move food into areas that were experiencing famine so people wouldn't starve, it was pretty great. People could get a wider array of foods, and they weren't limited to the things growing just around where they lived either! Lastly, birth control was a great thing that happened. You see, due to the usage of sewers and improved diets and better understanding of llnesses in this time, child mortality rates plummeted. Soon enough, people realized that having 10 kids wasn't necessary like it was back in the day. And since people couldn't just PUT IT AWAY, someone needed to find a way to do the do and not get a baby put n them. And while there have been various forms of (terrible) birth control i ancient tmes, right about now is when they would actually have a decent chance of working. Some examples of birth control are a vinegar soaked sponge put nto the vagina after intercourse, saran wrap, or pulling out.

During the 19th century, many people stopped marrying others solely for economic reasons. Many people had job oppurtunities in this newly industrialized society, and everyone had at least a chance of being able to provide for themselves. So, people started to marry others because they genuinly liked them, instead of marrying them cause they wallet thick. Also, women were no longer property of their fathers until they were married, so people in Europe stopped having arranged marriages. And because their parents didn't choose their child's spouse, they would choose themselves.

Many people of this time, mainly middle class people, had leisure activities based around their families or small groups of friends. Sports such as soccer, rugby, and cricket became increasingly popular throughout Europe. With all the parks showing up inside cities, it became easier for people to go play those games. Many games were played with family because of the increasingly family-friendly trend going through Europe. This started because childhood mortality rates had decreased by a large amount, so parents had started getting involved in their children's lives.
